Room AC Tubing

Home | Products | Room AC Tubing

Copper tubing connects the different parts of the AC system, such as the compressor, condenser, and evaporator, allowing the refrigerant to flow between them. Copper is preferred due to its excellent thermal conductivity, which allows for efficient heat transfer, and its corrosion resistance, which ensures long-lasting performance.

Copper LWC (Level Wound Coil) is widely used in Room/Domestic air conditioning tubing due to several key properties and advantages:

  1. Corrosion Resistance: Copper is highly resistant to corrosion, particularly from moisture and chemicals, which makes it ideal for long-term use in air conditioning systems that handle refrigerants and moist air.
  2. Thermal Conductivity: Copper has excellent thermal conductivity, allowing for efficient heat exchange. This is critical in air conditioning systems, where heat transfer between refrigerant and air is a core function.
  3. Malleability: Copper can be easily bent and formed without breaking or losing strength. This makes it ideal for tubing in complex air conditioning designs, where flexibility is necessary for space constraints.
  4. Leak Resistance: Copper is highly durable, reducing the risk of leaks, especially in high-pressure systems. This reliability is important for maintaining refrigerant containment and system efficiency.
  5. Sealing Properties: Copper’s ability to form strong seals in joints through brazing ensures that the refrigerant stays within the system, preventing leaks that could reduce efficiency or damage the unit.

Material Used for Room or Domestic AC Tubing.
